Why does this generation hate baseball so much?

I am 14 and my classmates DESPISE baseball. Everyone seems obsessed with football (US). I love baseball and it seems like I am the only one. I asked people why they hated it and they said, “it’s SO boring!”. What is wrong with this generation?

Good for you for being a young baseball fan. As was stated earlier you have to have an attention span to enjoy baseball. Those people do not realize that hitting a round ball with a round bat is the hardest things to do in sports. Nobody can give you the ball like basketball or football you have to hit it square. When I was a kid I collected ball cards read the stats on them obsessively and take my mitt outside and throw the ball up in the air and catch it by myself.
I don’t understand it drives me nuts when they say it is boring. When I have kids I will teach them the game so they can love it like I do. To me opening day is my christmas.
