Major League Baseball Parks Dimensions
Why Major League Baseball size of the gardens are not very specific?

I mean, why not a set of numbers specific, as the playing field in football, basketball, etc.? It seems unfair for / against different teams, especially when a batter runs to the center of depth and a commentator says, "In (insert park here) that would have been a home run" or something similar.

It's just one of the peculiarities baseball in which the rules on the dimensions of the playing field is very weak. The old parks were so strange, because I had to fit within the property surroundings. In the 60's & 70's we began to see a lot of new parks under construction that are uniform and symmetrical, as they were outside the city and had a lot of land to work. Many of the parks built during this time were very similar, and people began to receive the nostalgia of the old places. In the 90s there was a rush of new parks built specifically to give the feel of old. One of the teams have the advantage is that you can build a computer that is specifically designed to do well at home. Commentator also gives the opportunity to say "In (insert park here) that would been a home run.;)
